CRKT Minimalist Katana Neck Knife
The CRKT Minimalist Katana 2394 is an extremely ergonomic neck knife, designed by Alan Folts. When you look at the Minimalist you immediately notice the handle. The finger grooves provide a comfortable three-finger grip. Your little finger leans on the lanyard to make sure you can control the Minimalist with your entire hand. The spine of the blade is enhanced with jimping for your thumb. These are small grip serrations that give you more control.
This Minimalist Katana is very cool. The blade is a little longer than that of the other knives from the Minimalist collection. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is enhanced with a compound grind. The front of the blade is enhanced with a hollow grind, the end, towards the tip, with a flat grind. The result is a blade that is amazing to use and has a very solid tip. The blade, also because of the excellent ergonomics, is incredibly versatile. From opening boxes to light outdoor tasks. A great neck knife to carry with you on a daily basis.
You can easily take the knife with you in the included plastic sheath. You can use a neck cord to hang it around your neck, or use the included belt clip to hang it from your belt.
