The ThermTec Ventus Series represents a new generation of multi-spectrum binoculars, combining advanced thermal imaging, ultra-high-resolution digital day and night vision, and precision laser rangefinding technology in one powerful device. Available in two models – the Ventus 635L and Ventus 650L – the range delivers exceptional versatility, outstanding image clarity and reliable performance for wildlife observation, field sports and demanding outdoor environments.

Featuring a high-performance 640 × 512 thermal sensor with a NETD of less than 15mK, the Ventus Series detects even the smallest temperature differences, producing sharp, detailed thermal imagery in complete darkness, mist and challenging weather conditions. The advanced 12-megapixel CMOS optical sensor provides exceptional visual detail for daytime observation and digital night vision, allowing users to switch seamlessly between thermal and optical viewing modes.

Both models feature switchable 850nm and 940nm infrared illumination, offering digital night vision viewing distances of up to 400m with 850nm illumination and 350m with 940nm illumination. This versatile system allows users to adapt their observation to different lighting conditions and environments.

The impressive 1600 × 1200 AMOLED display, combined with a smooth 50Hz thermal refresh rate, provides crisp, fluid imagery when tracking moving wildlife. ThermTec's intelligent AI Calibration and Thermal Super Resolution (TSR) technologies optimise thermal image quality, improving detail recognition and maintaining consistent clarity during extended observation.

An integrated 1000m laser rangefinder (LRF) provides accurate distance measurements with a stated precision of ±1m, enabling users to assess the distance to observed wildlife and objects quickly and conveniently.

Designed for comfortable binocular-style viewing, the Ventus Series features an ergonomic, rubber-coated housing with anti-slip grips, adjustable eyepiece spacing and intuitive one-handed dual focusing controls. Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) further enhances optical viewing stability, particularly when observing at higher magnifications.

Powered by two replaceable and rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion batteries, the Ventus Series offers up to 6 hours of operation. A built-in proximity sensor helps conserve power by automatically switching off the display when not in use.

With 64GB internal storage, photo and video recording with audio, Wi-Fi connectivity, six thermal colour palettes, picture-in-picture functionality and IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection, the Ventus Series combines advanced imaging technology with exceptional everyday practicality.

Two Models to Suit Your Needs

ThermTec Ventus 635L – Featuring a 640 × 512 thermal sensor and 35mm F0.9 thermal objective lens, the Ventus 635L delivers 2.6× base thermal magnification and detection capabilities of up to 1800m. Its wider thermal field of view makes it an excellent choice for scanning open areas, woodland observation and tracking moving wildlife. Combined with its high-resolution digital optical system, the 635L offers exceptional versatility for both short and medium-distance observation.

ThermTec Ventus 650L – Equipped with the same high-resolution 640 × 512 thermal sensor and a larger 50mm F1.0 thermal objective lens, the Ventus 650L provides 3.7× base thermal magnification and an impressive detection range of up to 2600m. Its increased magnification and extended detection capabilities make it particularly suitable for long-range wildlife observation and scanning expansive landscapes.
