Zeiss DTI 3/35 Gen 2 Hand Held Thermal Imager

The new Zeiss DTI 3 GEN 2 range of thermal imaging cameras are specifically designed to meet the needs of professional users 24 hours of the day.

Its large field of view and long range capability make it the perfect product for raised hide hunting and stalking in forested areas.

Available in two models, the DTI 3/25 with a 25mm lens and 900m detection range, and the DTI 3/35 with a 35mm lens and 1300m detection range.

The new DTI 3/25 Gen 2 features a brand new 384x288 12 micron sensor and offers a wide field of view of 26 m at a distance of 100 m.

This means that the ZEISS DTI 3/25 GEN 2, coupled with its industry standard optics, is capable of providing a perfect overview at shorter distances.

Whether used for observing and tracking, or to quickly and accurately identify different species, this high-quality thermal imaging system delivers class leading performance.

New, more powerful hardware enables improved image quality and pushes the boundaries of 384 x 288 sensors even further.

The new 1024 x 786 AMOLED display improves contrast and colour reproduction for a more detailed image with less background noise and sharper contours.

Smart Standby for Extended Battery Life.

When in the field, the nearest power source is often out of reach. A portable charger is often required to ensure they don’t run out of power. This means you have to take extra weight and equipment into consideration. With an impressively long battery life of 8 hours, the DTI 3 GEN 2 models will hold enough charge for two to four outings. Extend the battery life even further by activating the smart standby function.

Three observation modes for every situation.

Different environmental situations require a different device setting. The DTI 3 GEN 2 has three pre-programmed observation modes: universal, detect and fog. 

Discover mode.

This mode highlights heat sources while reducing the cold background. This allows you to view animals behind trees and bushes better than ever before.   

Unique Movement Alert.

Tracks the movement of the hottest heat source in the image and notifies the user when that heat source moves. The LED on the top of the unit will start flashing, or optionally the display will turn itself on. It is therefore possible to monitor a large area without having to hold the camera all the time.
